Taylor Swift to headline Dick Clark's New Year's bash
Posted November 9, 2012
Taylor Swift is continuing her domination of the world stage: She'll be headlining this year's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, performing live in front of a potentially 1 million-strong crowd in Times Square just before the ball drops on Monday, Dec. 31, according to a release.
The bash, the first since Clark's death in April at age 82, kicks off on ABC at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour live tribute to the man who catapulted the careers of scores of Swift's predecessors. Fergie and Jenny McCarthy will host the special, which will feature clips and reminiscences of America's oldest teenager.
