Hathaway makes style statement at 'Les Miz' premiere
Posted December 5, 2012
Anne Hathaway clearly wasn't concerned about getting chilly -- or receiving a few stares -- on the red carpet at the London premiere of her latest flick Les Miserables.
The pixie-cut-rocking star made another daring style move in an interesting pearl-colored Givenchy gown Wednesday evening that left plenty of her upper body uncovered.
The intricate, backless gown has plenty of moving parts with an off-the-shoulder neckline, halter straps held together by a ring and hundreds of fancy beads studding the dress from top to bottom.
With so much going on with the look, it's hard to know where to focus one's attention. Beads? Backless? Batwing sleeves?
(For the record, The Huffington Post called the complex gown "befuddling.")
Hathaway was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried, who made a splash herself in a sculpted black-and-white Balenciaga dress.
